Booking and delivery
We recommend that you book at least 24 hours in advance. We provide a two hour window for the delivery of bins, to account for traffic conditions, unforeseen delays and other bookings in place. As a general rule we do not provide a time for removals, but we will do our best to accommodate a specific requirement where possible.
Hire period
Bins are hired for as long as you need. The first 14 days are included in the price, then each extra day is $10. You choose the delivery date and pickup date when you book.
Payment
Payment is to be made prior to or at the time of delivery. We accept cash to the driver on delivery, credit card (MasterCard or Visa only) and prepayment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Council permits
If a bin is placed on council property, on the nature strip or on the road, we are required to obtain a permit. We arrange the permit on your behalf as part of your booking. Permit costs vary depending on the council, placement of the bin and the length of time the permit is required.
Filling the bin
The bin must only be filled to the top so that it is level with the side of the bin. Due to occupational health and safety, waste cannot exceed the height of the bin. If your bin is overloaded, you may be required to offload it before it can be removed from site.
Waste we do not accept
We do not accept asbestos, tins of liquid paint, gas bottles, tree stumps, liquids, oils, food scraps or chemical waste in solid, liquid or powder form including garden and household chemicals.
Fees
These fees apply only if they apply to your job:
- Overweight bin: $135 per tonne
- Overloaded bin: $100
- Each day past 14 days: $10
- On-site cancellation or reschedule: $80
- Mattress: $50 each
- Car tyre: $20 each
- Truck tyre: $50 each
